Kslademade new arrival: leather pencil pouch

I just saw Kslademade's brand new leather pencil pouch and it's so perfect. As someone who spends way too much time studying and as a former teacher, I like to keep my things organized. I believe that everything has its place, and pencils belong in pencil pouches (duh) and not scattered all over my workspace, where they are right now. Since I'm planning on going to law school in the fall, I'm thinking in investing in a nice pencil pouch, and the Kslademade pencil pouch just seems like a good idea: the colors are fun, the leather gives it a very adult feel, and you can monogram it - love!

I definitely have my eye on the pink one!

Dona on the Daily

DAY THREE:
My day in detail

There's not a lot of action or suspense in my daily life, as you'll soon find out. I spend my days studying at least 6+ hours (or more!). My test is in about 2 weeks and with the holidays coming up I'm really in a time crunch to take practice tests and review. So as you'll see, about 85% of my day is devoted to the LSAT. It's not a fun schedule, but it's definitely something that will be worth the sacrifice in the end!   Blogging has come to be my reward after a long day hitting the books, it's something I do just for me.

Monday 11/18/13

7am: wake up! check my email/texts/ facebook, and respond to everyone
7:15am: shower + get ready for the day, plan my outfit. And by outfit, I really mean a clean pair of yoga pants and a quarter zip, let's get real, it's study wear!
7:45am: quick drive to starbucks to get my morning coffee fix. Its unseasonably warm in New Jersey, which means it's iced coffee weather!
8:15am: breakfast, make my daily studying to-do list, post blog, set up my lsat timers online, LSAT warm up

this is a screenshot of some LSAT craziness
8:30am - lunch?: LSAT LSAT LSAT online window shopping break LSAT LSAT LSAT LSAT
lunch!
2pm:  call my grandmother LSAT diet coke LSAT LSAT blog a bit  LSAT LSAT
4:04pm: quickly send a text to my boyfriend
4:06-6ish pm: LSAT LSAT facebook break, text my bestie about something questionable I saw on facebook LSAT LSAT LSAT, zone out, LSAT
6:30 pm: dinner with my parents
7-9ish pm: gym + quick shower. Also, let's not fool ourselves, I bring LSAT flashcards to the gym.
10-11pm: TV usually I watch the blacklist, but it wasn't on so I had to settle with Castle instead.
11pm: goodnight!

If you found my schedule boring, well it is, and be happy it's not yours! But I'm happy you made it this far and read the entire thing, kudos to you! Some days of the week, I'm more social and I go out with my friends or boyfriend, but Mondays are typically studying-heavy and therefore there's not much going on other than that.

I like it like that

DAY TWO:
10 Likes & Dislikes

Likes:

1. Brunch. Eggs benedict, please!
2. Group Messages
3. School supplies. Back to school is my favorite season, but let's get real, I'm always stocked up no matter what month.
4. Caffeine - diet coke, iced coffee - you name it, if it has caffeine, I'm probably drinking it right now.
5. Autumn. I just love all the different colors!
6. Even numbers.
7. Friendship; there's no substitute for hanging out with your best friend, and your traditions never get old
8. Secret boards on Pinterest - my followers don't have know that I have over 500 pins that are just of kittens.
9. Dry shampoo - it has my vote for best invention of the 21st century.
10. Hip-Hop - this might be unexpected, but I'm a huge hip-hop and rap fan.

Dislikes:

1. Rude people
2. Goodbyes. I am the worst at goodbyes, I prefer to just have casual "see you laters!"
3. My bank account after go shopping. It's always so sad.
4. Talking on the phone. I just can't, text me, email me, but please do not call me.
5. Public Speaking, talk about anxiety
6. the LSAT - basically the reason why I started blogging
7. Stinky feet, eww
8. Email anxiety. You know that feeling that you get when you're expecting a response from a very important person (professor/boss etc) on a crucial topic - one that just might even be career changing.
9. The time between the finale of the Bachlorette and the start of the next season of the Bachelor. Seriously, what am I supposed to do with my Monday nights in between?!
10. Washing dishes. Although it must be done, it's the easiest way for nail polish to chip.

Now that you know mine, what are some of your likes and dislikes?

You never forget your first!

Welcome!
I'm very new to blogging, so please bear with me! I decided to start blogging as a distraction from studying for the LSAT (ugh!).

I'll start by doing a 30 day blogging challenge, I know it's been done before, but it'll give me a chance to learn the blogging ropes and for you guys to learn a little bit about me!

DAY ONE:
Post a photo of you and give 10 facts

1. My name is Dona, but its pronounced the same as Donna. I was named after my grandmother, and that's the way her name is spelled.

2. The name Brunch on St. Paul Street comes from all the wonderful memories I have brunching on St. Paul street with my sorority family. While I was figuring out what to name my blog, I decided to look at fashion blog name generators, but the names that popped up didn't really mean that much to me: vouge and pumps, the cheetah princess  etc. They sound great, but they're not very personal. I decided on a name that I have an association with - brunch on St. Paul was always super fun, cheeky and filled with love.

3. I'm 22 to turn 23 in late December - ahhh how scary!!!

4. I have an amazing family, and I would not be anything without them. Family means the world to me. I'm an only child and am close with both parents. They're the best, warmest, goofiest people I know, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

5.I have a passion for academics. I love school. I majored in international relations and art history in college, and I loved every second of it. I think learning is the most amazing thing and I never want to stop; I believe that we are all lifelong learners and we should act like it.

6. I was born and raised in Europe. My family moved to the states when I was 7, so I don't have any type of accent. 98% of my family is in Europe so we go back to visit them very often. I was just there in October!

7. I'm obsessed with nail polish and painting my nails. I find it extremely relaxing to paint my nails after a long day. The little luxuries in life are the very best.

8. Clothes, shoes, purses, jewelry - like any other 20-something female, I love all everything and anything that has to do with fashion.

9. I love art; I love going to museums. When I go to a museum, I have to see the entire collection, I literally spend hours just looking at all the paintings, sculptures ect, and just taking everything in.  Im a huge fan of Roman sculpture; just take me to Rome and I'll be happy as a clam.

10. This is me now, and although I'm far from perfect, I acknowledge that and I strive to be the best I can be in everything I do.  I'm  still figuring out who I'm suppose to be, and I do hope you enjoy the journey!

Enjoy!
